California Road Trip

This weekend my husband and I talked about where we would each like to go on our next vacation.

We talked about a cruise.

Then our thoughts shifted.  "How about a road trip along the coast of nouthern and sorthern California?," he said.

We are thinking about flying in and then renting a car to drive up or down the coast line.

So, if anyone out there has any suggestions on places to see, stay, shop, and restaurants to eat at ...please let me know.

I've been to Los Angeles {briefly} and to San Diego, but that's about the extent of my experience with California.

I'd love to know about some great Bed & Breakfast places along the coast and some ideas for sight seeing too ...heck just about any ideas would be awesome.

I know there are quite a few bloggers out there in Blogland who either live in or have traveled through California ...I'd love to hear from you.

First Concert On The Lake

This evening I am getting ready for our first-of-the-season concert on the lake.
I expect things to get a little cool once the sun goes down... so I'm taking along my trench coat {not photographed}.

I'm wearing black jeans {gonna be sitting on the grass, blanket, etc.} and thought these would be the best choice.

I just love my bright azealea colored tank top I got this year.  It always makes me feel so festive.

Hello All,

What sort of fun activities are on your agenda this winter?

Do you like to build a bonfire, roast marshmellows or have a picnic?

Maybe you like to ice skate?

Maybe you're more of the cuddle-up-with-a-blanket-outdoors-by-the-fire type of gal.

And who wouldn't want to go sledding?

I'm not sure, but I think I like all the ideas ...some more limited than others though.  How about you?
