Week No 13 - 2012

Awe ...Spring!

Such beauty all around us.

We took a little trip to the gardens to view all the wonderful color this time of year ...so much to take in at once.

Obviously I had my camera handy as we walked around that day.  Then we stopped to have lunch at the tea house (didn't remember to take photos) and walked a bit more before heading on home.

It was a lovely day to share with my husband.

The remainder of the week is actually a bit of a blur ...not too many events, but I did get my blog header redone.  Do you like it?  I think it is humorous ...at least that's what I was going for anyway.  And I did find a new pair of sandals in the new shade of red that I've added to my Spring wardrobe.  Will share them with you next week ...they have feathers!

Week No 12 - 2012

Getting away to a peaceful place to relax, unwind without computers or phones was truly a delight last week.  The weather was perfect and I got some really great photography done.

It never ceases to amaze me just how important it is to "get away".  Some say it is a time to recharge the 'ol battery ...I agree with that.

Doing the same thing day in and day out gets a bit boring and probably the number one reason I get the "burn out" attitude after awhile.

Staying at a ranch out in the middle of nowhere where all you hear are the birds, cows, wild turkeys, and the occasional coyote is simply ...well peaceful.

I didn't think of much of anything ...seriously ...anything.  I simply sat and daydreamed, walked, and took photos.

I came back with lots of fresh ideas for artwork this week.  If you want to see more of my artwork, you can always go here.

While in the car driving to the ranch, I studied the manual for my tab.  I now have a much better idea of what I can do and am anxious to try some of the graphic features out.

Other than that ...I'm just wonderfully relaxed and ready for my week.
