I'm pretty excited ...Mister is cooking dinner tonight and he went out to the garden to pick fresh herbs this morning just for the event.
When I gave him a hug this morning, I told him he smelled like cilantro. Good reason too ...he had just returned from the garden where he had been picking cilantro for our meal tonight.
Just gotta love a man that smells like cilantro ...especially first thing in the morning!
I like to add it to just about anything I'm cooking ...various amounts though, of course. It is a pretty potent herb.
Besides adding cilantro to the pot toast, I'll also be cooking up some fresh corn on the cob boiled with oodles of the stuff ...now that's real yummy, folks!
Here's the recipe:
1 - 3 lb. roast
1 sliced onion
1 - 1 oz. envelope of Lipton onion soup mix
1 - 10.75 oz. can of cream of mushroom soup
1 cup water
liquid smoke (optional)
cilantro (optional)
Place roast and sliced onion in crock pot. Cover roast with soup mix. Slowly add mushroom soup and water. Cover and cook on low heat 8-10 hours in a crock pot.
Start cooking in the morning and your house will smell soooo good by dinner time.
TODAY'S HUMORSPOT... might be an excellent day to eat a banana, but only half of one. You should share the other half with someone else and ...stay away from the zoo today.
