Well, I didn't have to search far to come up with my "Words To Live By" so that I could participate in Notes from A Cottage Industry today.
I simply pulled out a saying I have in my own home shown below.
It simply states that, " I clean my house every other day...
this is the other day"
Instead of cleaning inside, I chose to work outside in the garden.
It was just too beautiful to be inside.
So what did I do, you ask?
Well I created the tiniest and cutest reflection pond garden that you can see in the photos below.
I certainly think it was a much better choice than doing laundry and dusting furniture, don't you?
Unfortunately, {and there always is that statement to be made when I over-work my muscles} laundry and dusting would have been a lot easier on my back and legs. Both of which are screaming at me now.
Of course, creating the small Reflecting Pond Garden isn't all that I did today. Oh no...I'm not that out of shape to have muscles screaming just for a small garden. I cleaned the front courtyard and planted new flowers in all the planters on the wall. And then I...
But I guess the moral to my words today would be just to pick what is most important to do at any given time. Enjoy life!
